• Processor – minimum Pentium III. Any other faster processor is fine.
• Operating System – Windows 2000 or greater.
• RAM:
• Windows 2000 or XP – minimum 256MB.
• Windows Vista or Windows 7 – minimum 1G
• Hard Drive Space – minimum of 500MB
• CD ROM or DVD

server recommendations

• Processor – minimum Pentium III but any new machine which can run .net 2.0 will be adequate.
• Operating System – Windows 2000 (Workstation or Server), Windows XP (Professional or Home). Vista:all version,  Windows 7:all versions, Server 2003, Server 2008
• RAM;
  • Windows 2000 or XP – minimum 128MB but 512MB recommended.
  • Vista/Windows 7 – minimum 1gb but 2gb recommended.
• Hard Drive Space – minimum of 500MB.We would recommend at least 2GB.
• Network – Connecting to the databse directly across a VPN connection is not supported, we recommend Terminal Server for remote access. Wireless networks are not supported.
• At least one CD-ROM drive on any machine that is accessible over the network by ALL machines with the program on.

printers

We recommend at least one laser printer on the network for printing reports etc (inkjet printers will suffice but they do have a smaller printable area which can be a problem when printing reports).

backup

Whatever you choose to back up your data on, we recommend having a DVD Writer or external hard drive available in case our support desk needs a copy of your datafile to assist any balancing etc problems.

internet

A reliable Internet connection is highly recommended as we often communicate via email and from time to time require you to download updates from our web site. A major benefit of the program is its ability to send the datafile to our support services so we can check it and give support by looking directly at your data. An internet connection also enables you to send your listings to your own, or any other web site. realoz Server requires and internet connection to download automatic updates. A minimum 56k connection is satisfactory, but not recommended. ADSL (Broadband) is highly recommended/ desired.

3rd party software

Real Software integrates with Microsoft Word 95 to 2000 or XP or 2003 0r 2007. Outlook or Outlook Express is also needed. We also recommend Adode Acrobat Reader, which is available from Adobe.com. free of charge. FinePrint pdfFactory software is required ( a trial version is supplied with the Software). These are the only 3rd party software we recommend you need to run the software. Internet Explorer 6 or greater is required to achieve the best experience of the online products.
